Digital Campaign Director

We are looking for a Digital Director with deep experience managing campaigns at federal, regional and global levels. This is an exciting role that is going to lead major global movements and drive social change that will impact generations to come. Titles seem fluid these days (we’re not big on them TBH) but this role is for a Senior Campaigns Manager, Account Director etc. type who has experience leading digital advocacy client work and is excited to apply that knowledge to different political systems and policy processes globally.

Ideal candidates are based in Washington D.C. but work is remote (many of us work from home) with the option of going into our downtown D.C. office. Non-D.C. based applicants will be considered as well.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years professional experience in digital advocacy campaigns, including large-scale project management, developing digital campaign strategies and tactics against a specific issue policy goal in national, regional and/or global settings
  • Must have previous experience in agency or consulting setting for advocacy clients, including coordinating project stakeholders and capacities (e.g. client team, designers, advertising team, developers etc.)
  • Strong understanding of social media management, email based engagement, mobile SMS-campaign, web-based engagement and/or online-to-offline activity
  • Aptitude in managing large scale digital paid advertising strategies for advocacy campaigns to drive issue advocacy and/or acquisition and fundraising
  • Experience building and managing high level advocate or ‘influencer’ programs
  • Training facilitation experience, e-learning experience a plus
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation methods for digital advocacy campaigns
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially around digital campaign
  • Good understanding and knowledge of the global social media landscape, with particular emphasis on lower-middle income countries.
  • Language skills a plus! Spanish, French, Mandarin, Bangla, Swahili, Vietnamese all a plus

Location: Washington, D.C.
Compensation: $85,000 – $115,000 salary with benefits

Digital Strategist

We are seeking a digital campaign strategist who is passionate about building advocacy movements in countries across the world. This is a great mid-level role for someone who has experience in various digital advocacy campaign environments and is excited to apply that knowledge to different political systems and governments globally.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Political Science or relevant field
  • 4 – 5 years professional experience in digital advocacy campaigns, including developing digital campaign strategies and tactics against an issue-specific policy goal
  • Strong understanding of social media management, email/CRM-based engagement, mobile SMS-campaign, web-based engagement and/or online-to-offline activity
  • Experience running digital paid advertising campaigns for political and/or issue-advocacy campaigns on major social and digital platforms
  • Experience working in a client-support setting, strong project management skills
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation methods for digital advocacy campaigns
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially around digital campaigns to non-digital oriented stakeholders
  • Understanding and knowledge of the global social media landscape, with particular emphasis on lower-middle income countries.
  • Language skills a plus! Spanish, French, Mandarin, Bangla, Swahili, Tagalog, Indonesian, Vietnamese all a bonus

Project Details

Location: Washington, D.C. strongly preferred (work remotely from home or our DC office but DC-area based), exceptional non-DC based candidates will be considered

Compensation: $65,000-85,000 + Benefits
